Here are ten (10) things to consider before you select your caterer
1) Does the caterer have liability coverage – including liquor liability?
2) Does the Caterer serve liquor? Many do not!
3) Did you receive a list of references? (Remember contact at least two)
4) Can you arrange to view the catering of another wedding reception to check food display, service style, flow, organization? Can we arrange to taste foods on the menu you suggest?
5) Does the caterer set the tables & provide all of linens and tableware?
6) How many servers will the caterer have at your event?
7) How much time will the caterer need to set up and tear down?
8) Will the caterer work with me and my venue to ensure my wedding colors and theme is set up the way I envision? What about Reservation changes?
9) What additional charges might be incurred other than the food, beverages, and rental of requested extras?
